Corporate - Community Coalition Building
A large corporation has a values-aligned social mandate.
They are struggling to connect with communities. Together we study the challenges at play in the fractured connection between the corporation and the community, and we come up with a set of actions to improve that connection.
With community consultation, needs emerge, and an adaptive project is designed by community and corporate actors.
The corporation can fulfill their social mandate through a meaningful, connected, project with measureable impact.
They meet their social mandate and build lasting community relationships.
Informed Consent
A not-for-proft organization offers skill trainings to a large group of volunteers.
The organization wants to ensure that informed consent is understood and implemented by all instructors in their skills trainings, as the trainings involve some physical contact.
Together we develop guidelines for implementing informed consent.
We respect the knowledge the community of volunteers and learners bring to the trainings.
Community Collaboration
A group of motivated, caring, not-for-profit organizations serving community are struggling with stretched resources and human exhaustion.
This has lead to challenges for inter-agency collaboration.
Together we identify what is needed for collaboration, what each agency can share, and how they can collaborate with dignity.
We design projects that feed rather than deplete resources and relationships. The projects have deeper social impact because the inter-agency collaboration reaches more community members.
I have deep expertise in a variety of areas,
including gender and sexuality, consent education, collaborative idea development, capacity building, relational facilitation, coalition building, and community capacity growth.
